We have recently been invited to work with a youth research group at the Ripple Project in Edinburgh. The participants, supported by the NHS and Edinburgh University, had an opportunity to develop a study, which focuses on the problem of adults illegally buying tobacco for young people.
As a result of the research, the young people found out that 1 in 5 adults admitted to purchasing tobacco for under 16yrs old youth.
In order to outline the importance of this issue, the group decided to create a short ( 10 - 15) second film. Digital Beez worked with the group to develop their ideas and a story. The young people also learnt how to use camcorder and experiment with different creative shooting angles.
We are now co-editing the film with the group and will be posting the results very soon!
